OUR WORKING SYSTEM

A Structured Workflow from Design to Fabrication

I use a structured workflow to help ensure that the final drawing package reflects the approved design and is practical for manufacturing.

01

3D Model First

I create the 3D model based on the approved design reference and submit the first draft for client review.

I can provide the model in formats such as STEP, IFC, and 3D PDF.
This allows the client to review the overall design before the complete drawing package is produced.

02

Address Client Revisions

I collect and address any client comments, revisions, or additional requests based on the first 3D model submission, if there are any.

03

Second Model Review

I submit the revised model for a second review.

This allows the client to confirm that the model aligns with their design intent before detailed drawings are produced.

04

Complete Fabrication Drawing Package

Once the 3D model is approved, I proceed with the complete drawing package.

Depending on the project, this may include:

Main Assembly Drawings
How the welded sub-assemblies are bolted together

Sub-Assembly Drawings
How the individual parts are welded together.

Individual Part Drawings
Complete dimensions, fabrication details, bend radii, bend distances, and flat patterns for bending.

DXF Flat Patterns
For CNC cutting.

Spreadsheet-Based Fabrication Reports
Main assembly parts lists, sub-assembly parts lists, individual parts lists, bolt lists, and bolt location lists.

The goal is to provide the shop with everything needed to fabricate and assemble the project accurately.

05

Systematic Revision Control

Even after the drawing package is released, unexpected changes can sometimes arise due to last-minute client requests or changes to previously approved designs.

I use a systematic revision process where the revision number represents the number of post-release revision cycles.

Rev 0 — The initial drawing package is completed, approved, and released with no revisions required.
Rev 1 — After Rev 0 has been released, a revision request is received due to a client-requested change or an update to the previously approved design.
Rev 2 — A second post-release revision is requested after Rev 1 has been released.
Rev 3 and so forth — Additional revision cycles are tracked in the same manner.

For each revision, I update the affected drawings, document the reason for the change, and clearly identify the revisions made.

This provides a clear revision history and helps ensure that the fabrication team is always working from the latest approved revision, while distinguishing client-driven design changes from drafting errors.

WHY CHOOSE US?

Fabrication-focused experience
I understand the practical considerations involved in sheet metal and fabricated assemblies.

Structured review process
I use a review-based workflow to help identify design and fabrication issues before the complete drawing package is produced.
2.png
Overflow drafting support
I can work as an extension of your existing drafting team when your workload increases or deadlines become tight.

5.png
Manufacturing-aware detailing
I consider how components will be cut, bent, welded, and assembled—not just how they look in 3D.

3.png
Project-based flexibility
You can outsource drafting work when you need it, without committing to a full-time drafter for every project.
