RECTANGULAR TANK

At SolidDraft Design Solutions, our CAD design expertise extends to the comprehensive modeling and analysis of industrial equipment, as demonstrated by our work on this rectangular tank. We meticulously created a detailed 3D model of the tank in SolidWorks, incorporating the specified internal dimensions, the design of the stiffeners providing crucial base and side support, and the defined tank wall thickness. This precise 3D model serves as the foundation for rigorous engineering analysis.

Beyond the 3D model, SolidDraft Design Solutions conducted Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations on the rectangular tank to evaluate its structural integrity under the load of 16,000 liters of water. This analysis thoroughly examined stress distribution, deformation, and overall structural performance based on the given dimensions and support structure. Following the simulation, we compiled a comprehensive report detailing the methodology, results, and conclusions of the FEA, providing critical insights into the tank's ability to safely bear the intended load. To further enhance understanding and communication, we also generated high-quality 3D renderings using KeyShot, offering a realistic visualization of the tank design. This integrated approach, encompassing 3D modeling, FEA simulation, detailed reporting, and compelling 3D rendering, exemplifies the comprehensive engineering solutions offered by SolidDraft Design Solutions.
